olve the system by graphing the functions, and finding their points of intersection
y+x=-4
y=2x² +3x-4
====================
You should do that.
y = -x - 4 is a straight line.
Pick 2 values for x and find y.
Plot the 2 points, draw a line thru them.
================
y=2x^2 +3x-4
-------
Pick values for x and find y.
You can make an Excel sheet to do that.

There's no reason for someone to do it for you.
Plot as many points as you like.

Making the graph for the linear equation is easily done.
Complete the Square for the quadratic equation and put into standard or vertex form and make the sketch of the graph, maybe using other convenient points for this equation.
Now you should have enough to sketch the two graphs and take a good estimate of the intersections.
