8 raised to any power is positive
Therefore, as x increases to infinity, 8^(x-2), increases to positive infinity, but -5*(8^(x-2)) increases to negative infinity.
as x goes to negative infinity, 8^(x-2) goes to 0, and -5*8^(x-2) goes to 0 from the negative side.
