Question 1110060: Draw a triangle with vertices (-6,3), (4,13), and (10,-5)
Can you help me fiind the slope-intercept and general form equations for the three sides of the triangle. Do I have to find the slope intercept for all three sides? And then equations for three sides as well? Would that be six equations?

Answer by josgarithmetic(39617)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The form of the equation depends on what your given exercise tells you to use or complete into.

There will be three segments forming your triangle using the given points.
(-6,3) to (4,13);
(4,13) to (10,-5);
and
(10,-5) to (-6,3).

However you decide to write the equations for the sides, learn to use simple algebra to change between slope-intercept and "general" form.
-------slope is and y-intercept is (0,b).

-------this would be like the form Ax+By=C.

If you had Ax+By=C, and wanted the slope intercept form,... you should know what to do now.
