Question 1110052: Solve and graph.
4x-10<= 18 and 2x-1>=13

I already solved both equations and both came up with x<=7 (for the first equation) and x>=7 (for second equation). But I don't know how you would graph that or how the interval should be written. Should it be written as {7} or should it have the infinity symbols?

------------------------------
Solve and graph.
4x-10<= 18 and 2x-1>=13
-----------------------------

Notice, "AND".

AND

You are looking for the part of the solutions in which BOTH results are true. Which values will they be?

Here is a number line.

<-------------------------------------------------------------->

       0                                   7

Here is

<=========================================(=)-------------------->

       0                                   7

Here is ;

<-----------------------------------------(=)===================>

       0                                   7

The set of points for x<=7 AND x>=7 is the intersection of the two separate statements.

<-----------------------------------------(=)-------------------->

       0                                   7
