I assume this problem is saying that the ordered pair (x+y,2) is the same as the ordered pair (4,x-y)....

Note: if that is what the problem is supposed to be, then use "," instead of ";" between the two numbers in each pair.

Of course, if that is the correct interpretation of the problem, then you just need to solve the system of equations that says the two ordered pairs have the same x and y values:



That is an easy system to solve....
