Question 1066156: How do you solve an equation with the slope and 2 points?
Answer by KMST(5328) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
With the slope of a line,
and the coordinates of one point on that line,
you can write the equation of the line.
If you have the slope and two points,
use the slope and one of the points.
Choose the point that will make your work easier.
If you just have two points,
you can use those two points to find the slope,
and then you can use the slope and one of the points
to write the equation of the line.
