Question 1059934: Graph the line y=-2x-1
Answer by algebrahouse.com(1659)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Slope-intercept form is y = mx + b
m is the slope
b is the y-intercept

Slope = rise/run = vertical change/horizontal change

For y = -2x - 1
- put a point at -1 on the y-axis
- from there, since the slope is -2/1, move down 2 and to the right 1 and put another point
- draw a line through the two points
