Question 105847: I have to solve each equation for y in terms of x.
-2x+3y=-12
And the answer could be...
1:y=5/2x+1/2
2:y=1/2x+3
3:neither

But if it is neither then i have to figure it out myself....
Im sorry but i dont know if this is an equition or whatever!!!
Please help me out just a little:]

neither looks good, so...
you need to get the y by itself
...adding 2x gives 3y=2x-12
...dividing by 3 will get the y by itself
