Question 1041446: Given the function f(x) = -7x2 + 14x + 4, if x = 1, what is f(x)? What point is on the graph of f

Two ways can be used. One way is just substitute for x and evaluate. The other way is use of the Factor Theorem. Check for possible root, 1 , in the function f(x) using synthetic division. The remainder will be f(1).

You should find f(1)=11.
