I need help setting up the equation. would it be 180r+6(r+10)=180?

Time = 6 hrs ; Rate = x mph ; Distance = rt = 6x miles

Time = 6 hrs : Rate = x+10 mph; Distance = rt = 6(x+10)

EQUATION:
distance + distance = 180 miles
6x + 6(x+10)= 180
12x + 60 = 180
12x = 120
x = 10 mph (Gwen's rate)
