15 equal to or less than 19 +2(q-18)
Write the equation as:
15 =< 19 + 2(q-18)
Distribute the 2
15 =< 19 + 2q - 36
15 =< 2q - 17
0 =< 2q - 17 - 15
0 =< 2q - 32
we want 2q on the left, multiply equation by -1, this reverses the inequality sign
0 => - 2q + 32
add 2q to both sides
2q => 32
q => 32/2
q => 16
