Gradient formula:
y2 - y1/x2 - x1
Using (q,1) and (7,4)
4 - 1/7 - q = 3/1
Cross multiply
21 - 3q = 3 x 1
21 - 3q = 3
-3q = 3 - 21
-3q = -18
q = 6
