Hi there,
y= -1.9 x + 59
a) x intercept
Make y = 0
0 = -1.9x + 59
1.9x = 59
x = 59/1.9
x = 31.1 (To nearest tenth.)
b) What does this 'x' intercept mean?
31.1 years
= 31 years 5 weeks 1.4 days.
Hope this helps :-)
