Question 759456: The graph of a quadratic function passes through B(4,6), and the zeros of the function are 5 and 6. Write an equation of the graph in general form.
This question makes no sense. If the x-intercepts are 5 and 6 how can there be a point (4,6) and still be a quadratic function. HELP please.

Question 759086: How to graph my real world problem:
Child care A charges a flat rate of $10.00 per hour. Day care B charges a fixed rate of 300.00 per week and 10.00 per hour for any time over the 36 hours worked by parent. Which option is the best value for the single mother if she works 40 hours per week?
These are my three equations: y=10x and y=300+10(x-36)and y=300
I found my solution point of (30,300) by solving this equation 10x=300.
I found no solution to this equation 10x=300+10(x-36).
My x intercept for equation y=10x is (0,0).
My y intercept for equation y=10x is (0,0).
My x intercept for equation y=300+10(x-36)is (6,0).
My y intercept for equation y=300+10(x-36) is (0,-60).
I used the values for x on my graph as 0,6,10,20,30,36,40,46 and 50.
My grader keeps returning my graph back to me by telling me that the system of equations has not been accurately graphed. I need some guidance. Thank you.
