Question 976098: Why is the "given" not always used first in geometric proofs?
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20059)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Because sometimes there is no place to use what's given at first,
and you have to first "make a place" to use it before you can use it.
