 Maybe you yet not have enough experience with doing proofs.  Maybe you are a little too young still.  Maybe the semester of the school year is too short a time for you to learn Geometry and its proofs.  If getting better at this is what you want, then you will get better, so do not get too upset, and do not panic.  
If you are able to learn ANY of your Geometry course, then you can learn it better in case you give the effort to study it again.  How were you with Algebra 1 ?  If good, then this gives you at least some advantage in figure labeling and numeric processing, which is something generally that you also do with Geometry.  
If you did "good" in Algebra 1, like earned a B, then maybe your school will allow you next year to enroll in Algebra 2.  MAYBE.  Without getting C in Geometry.  If you are enough an Algebra person, you may be able to earn at least a C in Algebra 2.  In fact, you do not really need much from Geometry in order to study Algebra 2.  What your school will allow you to do is possibly different from what I say here.
