Prove:ML=ID
for reasons name the propety that makes the statement is true
Statements Reasons
MI=LD Given
IL=IL Reflexive
MI+IL=LD+IL I think addition
MI+IL=ML I is the point connecting two line segments, MI and LI.
LD+IL=ID You are substituting LD for MI because MI=LD and L is the
point connecting DL and IL
ML=ID I think substitution; that is correct.
