I'm wondering about your two steps:
3-AC=AB+BC Seg. Add. Post.
4-CE=CD+DE Seg. Add. Post.
If AC = CD and AB = DE, then how could the above be true? I drew it out. Shouldn't it read:
3-AC=AB+BC
4-CD=DE+CE ?

I had a typing error in the first line. It should have been AC=CE Given and AB=DE given.
