Given,
BC ≅ EC and AC ≅ DC
For this type of problems try to draw a figure, then you will easily find the answers.
from the figure
∠BCA ≅ ∠ECD are vertical angles,Vertical angles are congruent.
ΔBCA ≅ ΔECD are SAS
so, BA ≅ ED ( Corresponding parts of congruent triangles are congruent)

Something is missing. I can draw points A, B, C, D, and E so that BC is congruent with EC and AC is congruent to DC, and yet have BA not congruent to ED (see below).
BA and ED would be congruent (and triangles BAC and EDC would be congruent) if angles BCA and ECD were congruent. As it is you just have two pairs of congruent sides, but no reason for the triangles and the third pair of sides to be congruent.
