Question 516400: I am in Honors Geometry and we are dôing proofs, oh no. Here is the problem we need to solve:
Given line AB is perpendicular to line BC and angle 2 and angle three are complimentary angles, prove angle one is congruent to angle three. The picture shows a triangle with a right angle and a line (not a bisector going through it). Thank you very much, I appreciate any help.

You'll have to explain the question more clearly for a full solution (since we don't know what or where angles 1, 2, and 3 are). Please don't be afraid to try a proof (it is simply like an argument -- you take a position and you defend it, in this case, prove it).

Heads up: "Complementary" is the correct spelling. "Complimentary" refers to giving someone a compliment.
