Solve the proof
Given 6(x+5)=60
Prove x=5
---------------
This is not a proof.
You don't "solve a proof" when it is a proof, you prove it.
-------------
Do it like this:
Given 6(x+5)=60 solve for x
6(x+5)=60
Divide by 6
x+5 = 10
Subtract 5
x = 5
