Question 475809: This is a two column proof. I have no idea how to solve proofs. Please help!
Given: AC=EC; B is the midpoint of line AC; D is the midpoint of line EC.
Prove: BC=DC

Answer by richard1234(7193)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

We have AC = EC, and B is the midpoint of AC, D is the midpoint of EC. Hence we can say that BC = AC/2. Similarly, DC = EC/2. We now know that BC = DC because AC/2 = EC/2 (taken from our first equation).
