Question 425862: two friends rented a canoe for 10 days. One friend used the canoe for 6 days. the other friend used the canoe for 4 days. how much of the $150 rental fee should each friend pay?
Answer by kanowman(1) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
All you have to do is divide $150 by 6 which is $15/day. Then take $15 times 6 days and you get $90. Then take $15 times 4 days and you get $60. So the person that used it for 6 days pays $90 and the person who used it for 4 days pays $60.
