Question 396622: I need help with my proofs. This problem i'm working on says,
given AB=CD
Prove AC=BD
A---B--------C---D
i dont know how to prove that.
Answer by J2R2R(94) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
AB = CD (= x)
AC = AB + BC (= x + BC)
BD = BC + CD (= BC + x)
BC is common to both AC and BD but since AB and CD are the same (x) then BC added to these to give AC and BD respectively must also be the same, so AC = BD
