Question 313106: Im stuck on a Homework Problem:
Prove that the points W(-6, 2), X(-1, 3), Y(2, -3), and Z(-3, -4) represent the vertices of a parallelogram. Be sure to show all work and explain your answer to receive credit.
Can you help??

Answer by nyc_function(2741)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Steps:
1-graph every point given on graph paper.
2-connect all 4 points with lines.
3-find the distance between each point on the graph using the distance formula.
Keep in mind:
Definition: A parallelogram is a quadrilateral with both pairs of opposite sides parallel.
This means that the right and left sides must have the same length and the top and bottom sides must have the same length.
I'm sure you can do it now.
