Question 287981: I have two parallel lines 30 units apart. lines a and b
I have a perpendicular line c that transects these line at point Q with coordinates of (Qx, Qy)
Another point lies on line a and has coordinates (Zx, Zy)
The angle of the parallel lines to the plane is greater than zero and less than ninety
How do I find the coordinates of the point where lines c & b intersect?

Answer by richwmiller(17219)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We know the distance from line a to line b. It is 30 units
So we use that distance from point Q (Qx,Qy) to P(Px,Py) the point where the line c transects line b.
I think the point Z (Zx,Zy) and the angle are extra info.
