I would tell the eighth grade student to mind her own business and to have the owners buy the cover.
- the eighth grade student can't drive.
-the student doesn't have the money to buy the cover.
-the pool doesn't belong to the student so the student shouldn't be messing with it.
- The student shouldn't be trying to install the pool cover mid winter. That should have been done in the fall.
-I would also inquire as to why the student is so interested in this pool. It sounds very suspicious. Who is putting her up to this? A teacher? I would have an inquiry into the improper conduct of the teacher.
