I don't want you to go away wondering why no one helped you with your problem. So I'm going to tell you how to find out why. Take the explanation that you posted and go find a friend who is NOT taking the same geometry class you are taking. Read (or show) the explanation you gave us and ask them if they have any clue what your triangle looks like or how the vertices are labeled. Once you have tried this a couple of times and your friends have stared at you like you have a third eye in the middle of your forehead, you will understand why no one has helped you.
