If the third angle (vertex of an isosceles triangle is congruent to the third angle of another isosceles triangle then the two triangles are similar.
the other two are equal. there fore the sum is going to be 180
if the 3rd angle is x then the other two angles are (180-x)/2 each
so all three angles are the same so the triangles are similar since similar triangles have the same angles
