Question 1097405: Can you find a counter example for |-x|=x
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20081)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
   |-x| = x

  Let x = -1

|-(-1)| = -1

    |1| = -1

      1 = -1

That's false!  So when x = -1 it is a contradiction.
