Question 57305This question is from textbook
: Direct variation: true or false
If you triple an x-value of a direct variation, the y-value also triple.
true of false?? Explain.
I put true becausein y=kx, lets say y=2,k=1,and x=3. If the 3 is tripled, it would become 9, causing the y (or 2) become 6 and also triple. Is this correct??? This question is from textbook
