This is what I've tried to do:
f(x) = 2x^3 - 3
y = 2x^3 - 3 (turned it into a linear equation)
x = 2y^3 - 3 (switched x and y)
-2y^3 = -x -3 (isolate y)
-2y = ^3√-x - 3 (cube rooted both sides to get y on its own)
y = ^3√x + 3 / 2 (divided by - 2)
