Question 476749: I have a question and need to know if I put it in standard form correctly. The problem is y=5x^2-10x+12. My solution is
5(x^2-2x) + 12
5(x^2-2x+1) + 12
5(x-1)(x-1) +7
5(x-1)^2 + 7 but I'm not sure what happened with the 12 and 5
