What is the function F(x)= 4x^2+16x+8 vertex?
------------------------------------------------

For the quadratic function   =  x-coordinate of the vertex is   = .

In this case it is   = = -2.

To determine the  y-coordinate of the vertex,  substitute this value of   = -2  into the quadratic function.  You will get

= = 4*4 - 32 + 8 = -8.

So,  the vertex is  (x,y) = (-2, -8).
