Question 991638: If f(6)=9 and
f(x)=g(x)+2, what point
can you determine on the graph of g?

i think it works this way.
f(6) = 9
f(x) = g(x) + 2
if you replace x with 6 in the equation of f(x) = g(x) + 2, then you get:
f(6) = g(6) + 2
since f(6) is also equal to 9, you get:
g(6) + 2 = 9
solve for g(6) and you get g(6) = 7
the point that you can determine on the graph of g would be (6,7).
