Answer by harpazo(655)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
We are searching for f(g(x)).
What is g(x)?
You can see that g(x) is given to be 7x^2 - 1.
Replace every x you see in the function f(x) with 7x^2 - 1 and simplify.

(f + g)(x) means the same thing as f(g(x)).
(f + g)(x) = (7x^2 - 1)^2 + 5(7x^2 - 1)
Do the math on the right side on the equation.
I will not do the math for you.
I will tell you, however, that the domain is ALL REAL NUMBERS for this part of the question.
TIP: Your show work. Also, post one question at a time or else nobody will reply.
