Give the domain and range of the relation. Y=(x-1)^2+1
domain: all real numbers (-∞,∞)
solve for x in terms of y:
(x+1)^2=(y-1)
x+1=√(y-1)
(y-1)≥0
y≥1
Range: [1,∞)
