Question 881099: I don't understand how I know the Domain from an equation- like g(x)=2/x-3
Answer by algebrahouse.com(1659)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The domain includes the set of x-values which will not make the denominator zero.
If the denominator is zero, the fraction is undefined.

2
----- = g(x)
x - 3

Domain is all real numbers except x = 3.

If x is 3, then the denominator is zero.
