Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Geometric sequence 5, -1, 1/5, -1/25, 1/125 where common ratio(r) is -1/5 and the first term(a) is 5, therefore the nth term is defined as
Xn = ar^(n-1)
we want the 6th, 7th, 8th terms for this sequence
X6 = 5 * (-1/5)^5 = -1/625
X7 = 5 * (-1/5)^6 = 1/3125
X8 = 5 * (-1/5)^7 = -1/15625
The 6th, 7th, 8th terms for this sequence are -1/625, 1/3125, -1/15625
