Question 867076: hi everybody, i have a question from functions that i can't quite solve the question is use any value to make f(x)=0 and the formula is f(x) = 3x+2/2x+4 and the answer is x= -2/3 so do anybody here have an ideal on how to solve this question? any help will be greatly appreciated.

Start with the given function
Replace f(x) with 0 (since )
Multiply both sides by 2x+4.
Multiply
Flip the equation
Subtract 2 from both sides.
Subtract
Divide both sides by 3.
