Question 804949: how do I choose four values for x to make a function table for each function
f(x)= 5x-4

Answer by erica65404(394)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
f(x)=5x-4
we will use the x values, -1, 0, 1, 2
plug them in to get the y value
f(-1)=5(-1)-4
f(-1)=-9
f(0)=5(0)-4
f(0)=-4
f(1)=5(1)-4
f(1)=1
f(2)=5(2)-4
f(2)=6
make a chart (its the best chart i could make lol)
x|-1 | 0 | 1 | 2
------------------
y|-9 |-4 | 1 | 6
