Question 775363: Functions "What is the first four terms of the sequence represented by the expression –7n + 70. Full answer and process needed!
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20059)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Plug in n = 1

–7n + 70
-7(1) + 70
-7 + 70
63 is the 1st term.

Plug in n = 2

–7n + 70
-7(2) + 70
-14 + 70
56 is the 2nd term.

Plug in n = 3

–7n + 70
-7(3) + 70
-21 + 70
49 is the 3rd term.

Plug in n = 4

–7n + 70
-7(4) + 70
-28 + 70
42 is the 4th term.

So the first four terms are 63, 56, 49, and 42
