Question 74226: 4.graph
a)by using the slope and the y-intercept

Answer by rmromero(383)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

where is your equation?
Anyway, to graph an equation using slope - intercept form
y = mx + b, where m = slope and b = y - intercept
plot the first point using y -intercept (0, b)
Using the slope, we can locate the other point
Change in y
m = ___________
Change in x
If the numerator is a positive number, move up
If the numerator is a negative number, move down
If the denominator is positive, move right
If the denominator is negative, move left.
Using the two point you can draw a line. and thats the graph of the equation
