Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given functions h(x)= 1/ (sqrt ( x ) ) and g(x)= x^2-4, state the domain of :
h(x)/g(x) using interval notation.
------
h(x)/g(x) = [1/sqrt(x)]/[x^2-4] = [1/(sqrt(x)*(x^2-4))]
-----
The denominator must not be 0 so x = 0, 2 and -2 are excluded
---
sqrt(x) requires that x be >= 0
----
Domain: (0,2)U(2,+oo)
