LCD is (a-2)(a+1)
Write each fraction over the lcd as follows:
3a(a+1)/lcd - 5a(a-2)/lcd
Combine the numerators over a common denominator:
[3a^2+3a-5a^2+10a]/lcd
[-2a^2+13a]/[a_2)(a+1)]
