Answer by lwsshak3(11628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve:5(x-4)^(2/3)=80
divide both sides by 5
(x-4)^(2/3)=16
raise both sides to the (3/2) power
x-4=16^(3/2)
x=16^(3/2)+4
16^(3/2)=(√16)^3=4^3=64
x=64+4
x=68
..
check:
5(68-4)^(2/3)
=5(64)^(2/3)
=5*4^2
=5*16
=80
