Question 62554: Can you please tell me the Domain of this equation?
g(x)=squareroot(x+2)
I'm not familiar with writing the square root sign (the check mark) so I wrote the word out. Thanks

Answer by funmath(2933)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

The domain is what x is allowed to be. The inside of even roots are only allowed to be greater than or equal to 0, within the real numbers.

X can be anything as long as it's greater than or equal to 0.
The domain is:
set builder: {x|x>=-2}
interval notation: [-2,infinity)
Happy Calculating!!!!
