Find the inverse function of f. State the domain and range of f.
The demoninator cannot = 0, so x+5 cannot =0, x cannot =-5. Therefore the domain is that x is all real numbers except -5.
To find the inverse, let f(x)=y
Now switch your x and y and solve for y.
f^(-1)(x)= <-- this is the inverse function.
The range is anything that doesn't make the inverse undefined: y can be all real numbers except y cannot = 3.
