SOLUTION: finding the numbers that are not in the domain of the function?
f(x)=x/x-7
So i set x-7=0
so x=7
So therefore it can't be 7, it cant be domain so it would be
{x|x#7} right?

Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You are correct in saying that the domain is
But I think they simply want the number (or numbers) that are not in the domain. Since you've shown that x = 7 causes a division by zero, this would mean that 7 is not in the domain.
So the answer is simply 7.
