Question 588288: if f(x) = 12x + 14, what is the range value for the domain value 3
Answer by jim_thompson5910(35256) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The domain is the set of all allowable inputs. Since the domain value is 3, this means that x = 3.
So when x = 3, f(x) is then...
f(x) = 12x+14
f(3) = 12(3)+14
f(3) = 36+14
f(3) = 50
So the range value for the domain value of 3 is 50.
